Yes! It’s finally here! After years of being asked, “When are you going to offer a camp for adults?”, we did it!

Join us for a Play in the Wild! Initiation into Nonviolence Wilderness Trek for Adults. You will experience the Inner and Outer Wild, just like in our youth treks.
This adventure invites you to expand awareness of life through meeting the challenges within yourself and with the earth:
- Live close to the earth among a supportive community
- Relax into nature's nurturance in the beautiful setting of Réserve Faunique Papineau-Labelle
- Practice listening deeply and speaking your truth
- Learn to resolve conflict with Resolution Circles
- Discover self-reliance that leads to power-with others
- Come to Remember, Know and Trust who you are
Is Play in the Wild! for me?
Only the passionate need apply! Beside the obvious investment of time and money to take the trek, the journey can be a wild ride through contemplative inner spaces, ego crunches, physical challenge, magical mistakes, and compassionate community. Growth does contain the word - "OW". We urge you to take a breath. It’s important to know the difference between love of the work we do and a true calling to take the journey. Listen carefully – only you know.
OUR STAFF is a dynamic team that will offer opportunities in Being Nonviolence through Taiji (Tai Chi) and Meditation, Nonviolent Communication, Storytelling, Vision Quest, Canoeing, Swimming, Tracking the Inner and Outer Wild, Cooking, and lots more!
LIVING IN COMMUNITY: We will create a safe nonjudgmental environment in the spirit of Ahimsa. To support this kind of environment, we will all leave alcohol, recreational drugs, guns, weapons, and smoking at home. We will engage in the practices of becoming more attuned to what motivates us and making choices that will bring the most life and connection to ourselves and with the group.
FOOD: We will create a rotation of leadership and support to provide meals for the whole group. In the practice of Ahimsa, we will provide organic vegetarian meals. In the practice of Play in the Wild!, these will be unique, delicious flavors from around the world.
CERTIFICATES/CREDIT: Hours from this training can be applied to certification with the Center for Nonviolent Communication and may apply towards course study in certain schools or CEU's. You will receive a certificate for 7 days of Nonviolent Communication training.
COST: We offer our work freely in service to peace. At the same time, we request a sliding-scale monetary contribution of $685–$885 to cover the costs of this unique camp as well as offer support for the Staff who make it all possible. We ask for an initial non-refundable deposit of $125 to set an intention of commitment and hold your place on the circle. The remainder is due in full by June 5. We also offer monthly payment plans, for those who are interested. Please contact us if you would like help finding a creative solution for covering your tuition. If you are financially able to contribute more to support the sustainability of trek leaders and to ensure that nobody is turned away for lack of funds, consider giving to our Support Fund.
